Shooting Up & Eating Lobster Rolls (VIDEO)

lobster roll NYC

Hey One Droppers! Check out this #throwback video from January 2016. It's all about how One Drop CEO Jeff Dachis and VP of Marketing Rachel Sanchez, are living it up with diabetes. Catch us here eating the BEST lobster roll NYC has to offer at our neighborhood staple, The Grey Lady. We've split the story into 3 parts. Each one highlights a different moment in the meal+diabetes management process, including great food, great conversation, and great music! Note: This was all shot about 1 year before One Drop | Chrome officially launched (December 2016), so Jeff and Rachel are using a One Touch Verio Sync and Omnipod PDM, respectively. Enjoy!

Lobster Roll NYC #BGChallenge (Jan 2016)

Recently, Jeff Dachis and I sat down for lunch and talked all about health tech, NYC, eating great food, and, of course, how we live it up with diabetes! Jeff was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes just about 2 years ago. As a 21-year T1D veteran, I had a great time picking Jeff's brain. What's his approach and what was it like adjusting to the new lifestyle? We've got an awesome series of clips from our lunch below, and we'll start with one of my faves: what it was like when Jeff first started on injections!

What was is like to start taking shots???
