The Bad, The Ugly.Ā

Here I am with Haley again! After a coupleĀ margaritas and a long chatĀ about all about the best parts of having diabetes, we talkedĀ about all the not-so-good stuff... Between the two of us, we've had diabetes for almost 40 years! And of course, lots of complicatedĀ emotions all along the way. This time around, we covered theĀ worst parts we've encountered while living with diabetes.

Real Talk: Living with diabetes

We like to see the glass half full here at One Drop. But we also appreciate a good, true understanding of just how full the glass actually is. šŸ˜‰Ā So, if we're going to talk all the good parts about diabetes, we've gotta cover the bad, too. Living with diabetes can make for some very good stories. And Haley, the seasoned person with diabetes (PWD) that she is, knows this. Which is exactly why she asked me, what's the WORST part about living with diabetes?! In this video, I give my thoughts on not the good, but the bad and (kind of) ugly parts of diabetes. Push play below!Ā šŸ‘‡

What's your worst part?

Maybe there's one specific memory you have of the time you ran out of insulin while on vacation. Maybe it's, quite simply, the everyday pricks. Whatever the case, we want to hear from you! Let us know your thoughts here, here, or here. And if you haven't already, be sure to catch our video on theĀ BESTĀ parts of living with diabetes. šŸ˜ one drop - diabetes
