This Smoky, Sweet Salsa is Good for Your Heart

Peach Lime Salsa

  • 2 medium peaches, pitted and diced
  • 1 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tsp grated lime zest
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 cup cilantro or parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Wash and prepare all the produce.
  2. Combine the ingredients into a bowl and toss gently.
  3. Serve immediately with chips or add to your favorite meat, chicken, tofu, or fish. This salsa can also be kept in the refrigerator for up to two days.
