After setting up your Wi-Fi scale (My Account > Set Up a Connected Device), any new scale readings (weight values) should automatically upload to, and appear in, the One Drop app.
If you have successfully set up your Wi-Fi scale, but new scale readings are not appearing in the One Drop app, please try the following:
- Take 5. It may take up to 5 minutes to transfer a new weight reading from your Wi-Fi scale to the One Drop app. Be patient! Pass the time by sending your coach a message using in-app chat 💬
- Check your smartphone's Internet connection. After the initial scale setup, your smartphone requires an Internet connection to import any new weight readings from your scale to the One Drop app. Check to make sure your smartphone is connected to the Internet via cellular data OR Wi-Fi.
- Check your Wi-Fi router. Your router creates and communicates with your Wi-Fi network. Make sure your router is ON and working properly.
- Remove the batteries. If all else fails, remove the scale batteries and repeat the initial set up process in the One Drop app (My Account > Set Up a Connected Device > Scale > Select Wi-Fi Scale).
