Robin facilitates consultations with licensed healthcare providers who can prescribe appropriate GLP-1 agonist medications to those who are eligible.
GLP-1 agonists are a class of medication utilized to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity. They work by mimicking the effects of GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1), a naturally occurring hormone in the body that helps to regulate blood sugar levels and support weight loss.
When GLP-1 receptors in the brain are activated, appetite is reduced, causing you to eat less food overall. This type of medication also slows gastric emptying in the stomach, helping you feel fuller for longer. Available in both injection and oral forms, GLP-1 agonist medications are typically taken once a day or once a week.
Some common GLP-1 agonist medications include Ozempic (semaglutide), Rybelsus (semaglutide), Wegovy (semaglutide), Trulicity (dulaglutide), Victoza (liraglutide), Saxenda (liraglutide), Byetta (exenatide), Bydureon BCise (exenatide), and Mounjaro (tirzepatide).
At this time, Robin is for people who have not previously taken or are not currently taking a GLP-1 medication. We hope to expand our program to those who are already taking weight loss medication soon.
GLP-1 medications are only one piece of the weight loss puzzle. Research shows that improving diet and physical activity in conjunction with taking a GLP-1 medication bring the best long-term results. Our holistic weight loss program for moms is designed to support you in making the lifestyle changes necessary to maximize the effect of your GLP-1 medication. At this time, a medication-only program is not available.
Membership in the Robin program starts at $49.99 per month with a $50 initiation fee. We require a three-month minimum commitment, paid month to month. The subscription fee includes a Withings Body scale, lab tests, access to the full Robin program, and consultations with a board-certified physician. Depending on your insurance, additional copays apply for the consultation and the cost of the GLP-1 medication.
You will receive an email with a link to download the One Drop app and begin your program.
You will also receive an email from OpenLoop, our provider partner, to complete your account creation. You will be prompted to create an account on OpenLoop’s patient portal, Healthie. OpenLoop will verify your insurance information within 24 hours. After insurance approval, OpenLoop will contact you to schedule your first physician consultation.
Our provider partner, OpenLoop, accepts a wide range of insurance from all 50 states. OpenLoop will verify your eligibility and benefits within the first 24 hours of creating your OpenLoop account. All communications around your OpenLoop account will happen via their patient portal, Healthie.
