We determine the goals you see in the app based on your condition or combination of conditions. For example, if you have diabetes and hypertension, you will see goals for A1C, blood pressure, and physical activity. At this time, goals cannot be added or removed from your designated program track.
How are default goals set?
Default goals are based on a clinical standard of care. For example, your initial physical activity goal is set to at least 150 minutes of physical activity per week based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
For more information on how a specific goal was set, select the ? icon in the upper left of the goals screen.
How can I adjust my goals?
In the upper right corner of the goal screen, select Adjust. Then, scroll to the value you would like to set as your goal.
How do I know what my goal should be?
Consult with your healthcare provider to determine the appropriate goal for your situation.
You might need to adjust your goal for the following reasons:
-
Goal has been reached and you’re ready for the next step
-
Goal has not been reached after long-term effort and commitment
-
You notice a decline in physical and/or mental well-being
Can I add or delete a goal?
You can adjust your goals, but at this time, goals cannot be added or deleted altogether.
